The first bread I’ve made in a while that hasn’t been this delicious no-knead bread. Because sometimes I can’t wait overnight for bread. And because kneading is the best part anyway.
From this Betty Crocker recipe for French bread. I made it with not quite as much yeast because I only had a little, and even though bread-making seems like an exact science, it’s actually kind of hard to screw up, and I prefer to think of it as MAGIC.
